Definitions and Calculation Methods
DWDM Passive Component Test System 407
Crosstalk Smallest difference between in-band (BW1) loss and other
channel band (BW1) loss (see Channel Crosstalk (dB) on
page 412).
When PDL is available, this is calculated using the average
attenuation.
Max Crosstalk Maximum crosstalk value between the current channel and all
channels under test.
Total Crosstalk Sum of crosstalk from other channels.
When PDL is available, this is calculated using the average
attenuation.
ORL Lowest ORL (strongest reflection) value within BW1.
